Increased IMR and decreased MMR in a population will

(c) IMR (Infant Mortility Rate) and MMR (Maternal Mortility Rate) both are responsible for
affecting the growth rate inversely. It means clecline in IMR as well as MMR will result in
high population growth and vice-versa.
Here, if IMR has been increased then it will result in decline in growth rate. While,
decreased MMR will cause rapid increase in growth rate.
Therefore, in the above situation, if IMR has been increased and MMR has been
decreased in a population, it will not cause any significant change in growth rate.
