Criterion by criterion #
Six criteria that decide a NEET score. The side we would argue for in each row is bold — including the last row, which is TrackPrep's.
| Criterion | TrackPrep | NEETprep |
|---|---|---|
| NCERT Biology grounding | Large general question bank | Curated bank mapped NCERT page-wise |
| Curation | Volume-first: breadth of questions | Curated high-yield sets + 25 years of PYQs with solutions |
| Exam-format practice | Self-serve question drilling | NTA-style CBT mocks: 180 questions, 3 hours |
| Current NTA formats | General MCQ practice | Dedicated drills for Statement I/II and Assertion–Reason |
| The surrounding system | Question practice as the product | Bank + mocks + analytics + video solutions, with published ranker interviews |
| Price & free tier | Free tier and lower-priced entry plans | Paid full-batch access |
NEETprep figures — the NCERT page-wise bank, 25 years of PYQs with solutions, NTA-style CBT mocks, 10,500+ students qualified in NEET 2026 and the named ranker interviews — are as published on neetprep.com and its blog, verified 25 Sep 2026. The TrackPrep column describes the platform's own public model, not measured claims; check their site for current offerings and prices.
Why each criterion matters for your AIR #
- NCERT Biology grounding. NEET Biology is drawn from NCERT; uncited questions cannot be traced back to lines for revision.
- Curation. Revision time is the scarce resource; curation spends it on what the exam actually asks.
- Exam-format practice. Practising in the exam's own format and timing is what transfers on the day.
- Current NTA formats. Recent NEET papers use statement-based formats.
- The surrounding system. A full system catches the weak spots that isolated question grinding leaves invisible.
- Price & free tier. For casual, budget-first practice, TrackPrep's free tier is the easier way in.
Where TrackPrep wins #
TrackPrep is the better fit if a free tier and lower-priced entry plans for casual practice are what you need — that is the criterion it wins. A comparison that pretended otherwise would not be worth your trust; weigh that criterion against the five above for the way you actually study.
