Criterion by criterion #
Six criteria that decide a NEET score. The side we would argue for in each row is bold — including the last row, which is Vedantu's.
| Criterion | Vedantu | NEETprep |
|---|---|---|
| NCERT Biology grounding | Live-class slides and assignments | Question bank mapped NCERT page-wise |
| Exam conditioning | Live quizzes with gamified engagement | Timed full-length mocks: 180 questions, 3 hours, CBT format |
| Numerical practice | Taught and practised live in class | Graded multi-step sets up to exam-level difficulty |
| Current NTA formats | Covered within live classes | Dedicated drills for Statement I/II and Assertion–Reason |
| Practice analytics | Class participation and assignment tracking | Time-per-question and weak-topic analytics |
| Live interactivity & doubts | Interactive live platform, doubt support | Text solutions and structured tests |
NEETprep figures — the NCERT page-wise bank, 25 years of PYQs with solutions, NTA-style CBT mocks, 10,500+ students qualified in NEET 2026 and the named ranker interviews — are as published on neetprep.com and its blog, verified 25 Sep 2026. The Vedantu column describes the platform's own public model, not measured claims; check their site for current offerings and prices.
Why each criterion matters for your AIR #
- NCERT Biology grounding. NEET Biology is drawn from NCERT; page-mapped practice ties revision to the exact lines.
- Exam conditioning. The exam is one long, silent, self-paced sitting — training that sitting is a separate skill from class participation.
- Numerical practice. Hard numericals met first in practice are met calmly in the paper.
- Current NTA formats. Recent NEET papers use statement-based formats; drilling them separately builds the habit.
- Practice analytics. Knowing where your minutes go per topic is how time stops leaking in the hall.
- Live interactivity & doubts. If engaging live classes and instant doubt-clearing keep you consistent, Vedantu's platform is built around exactly that.
Where Vedantu wins #
Vedantu is the better fit if live interactive classes and always-available doubt support matter most to you — that is the criterion it wins. A comparison that pretended otherwise would not be worth your trust; weigh that criterion against the five above for the way you actually study.
