How to choose an exam center?

- You have the opportunity to list your top-3 examination center choices while filling out your application forms.
- Moreover, you will be required to log into your NEET account and fill in your choices in the order of your preference.
- Furthermore, you will be required to fill in the respective city code as well.
- After the successful submission of the form, it is not possible to edit your choices. Hence, you are requested to re-examine your choice on the basis of convenience of accessibility.
- The booking of the slots in the exam centres will be an online process and follow the first-to-register rule.
- To avoid random allotment of exam centre, it is imperative that you book your exam centre at the earliest.
- Note for candidates from Assam, Meghalaya, and Jammu & Kashmir without Aadhar Cards: You are required to pick exam centers only within your respective states.

Exam Day Instructions
In general, NEET follows stringent criteria and as such, there are several exam day instructions which the candidates are advised to keep in mind:
The doors to the examination centre will be opened at 7:30 A.M., 2.5 hours prior to the examination. Moreover, candidates will not be allowed to enter once the clock strikes 9:30 A.M., as the entry doors will be shut at that time. Candidates are thus recommended to reach the centre accordingly. - It is absolutely imperative for the candidate to bring their Admit Cards, with all the details filled in, along. Candidates will be refused entry without the Admit Card.
- You are suggested to go through the instructions provided in the Admit Card, and comply with the same.
- You are expected to maintain decorum within the examination hall.
- There is a possibility that the examination centres may not have provisions for depositing bags, etc. As such, candidates are recommended to make such arrangements on their own.
- Candidates are required to adhere to the dress code prescribed by the authorities. You can find it here.
- Candidates are required to sit only at the seat on which their roll numbers are mentioned. Therefore, the candidates are required to corroborate the roll number on the seat and their admit card.
- All candidates are prohibited from using the washrooms in the final 30 minutes of the exam.
